Baa’d Sheep Burritos’ food truck now available for your next event!
Our mobile kitchen is a perfect and fun option for your next event. So, whether you’re having a graduation party, wedding, rehearsal dinner, birthday party or Superbowl shindig, we would love to bring our creative, Tex-Mex flavor to you.
The great thing about our mobile kitchen is that we can set up and serve just about anywhere! Our customizable menus can fit just about any budget.
A couple things to keep in mind if your considering booking our mobile catering trailer for your next event:
- We have a minimum for each event.
- All bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance and are subject to availability.
- All bookings are made on a first come, first served basis. To secure your date, we require a signed contract and a 50% deposit. Final balance and final headcount are due at least 7 days in advance.
- We serve a 30 mile radius from our place of business, 14 S. Main St., Mars Hill, NC. We’re happy to travel outside of our service area. Depending on the distance, a travel fee will be incurred.

Additional Fees, Taxes & Service Charges
In addition to the per person costs of your chosen menu, the following costs will be incurred:
- Flat operating fee of $300 based on a minimum two hour food service window with additional hours billed at $50 per hour. This fee covers transportation, set up, insurance and other overhead operating costs.
- An 18% service charge will be billed based on the food and beverage cost. Baa’d Sheep Burritos will staff appropriately based on size of event and the menu. Additional experienced staff can be requested for $20/hr.
- A 6.75% tax will be charged only on food and beverage costs.
If the event venue is more than 30 miles from Baa’d Sheep Burritos, 14 S. Main St., Mars Hill, NC 27954, an additional $2 per mile will be incurred.
We understand that things come up that might require you to cancel your event. We will do what we can to accommodate you in these situations. If cancellations are made at least 60 days prior to the event, we will refund your deposit in full. If cancellations are made between 30-60 days prior to the event, deposit may be partially refunded or may be used towards another event within 6 months of the original date. If cancellations are made with less than 30 days notice, deposit will not be refunded. If cancellations are made less than 7 days prior to the event, 25% of the total event cost will be refunded.
Baa’d Sheep Burritos will apply the entire balance of Customer’s deposit towards another Event, subject to availability. All costs are subject to change.
Guaranteed Minimum Guest Count
Our food truck events require a minimum guest count of 50 people or a minimum food cost of $500. Final headcount is due at least 7 days prior to the event. Initial quote is provided based on the estimated guest head count provided by client upon reservation. Additional guests over and above that initial head count will be charged on a per person basis determined in the client contract.
If the actual event headcount exceeds the final headcount submitted, we will accommodate extra guests based on food availability and additional guests will be charged per person. In the event that the actual headcount exceeds the final reported headcount, Baa’d Sheep Burritos cannot be held responsible for a potential food shortage.
We recommend counting children under the age of 10 and then dividing the total in half when submitting head counts.
A 50% deposit is required upon contract signing and reservation of date. An invoice will be provided to the client via Square and can be paid by credit card, check or cash. Invoice must be paid within 7 days of receipt or event date will be released and contract will need to be renegotiated. Checks can be made payable to Baa’d Sheep Burritos and sent to 11 Meadowview Terrace, Weaverville, NC 28787. Please note invoice number on check.
Full balance will be due at least 7 days prior to event. Any additional guests served exceeding the headcount included in the final invoice will be charged per person and incur a second invoice.
Client agrees to provide private parking for the Event. The parking area must allow for clearance of the following dimensions: 29 FT long X 10 FT wide X 12 FT high. The private parking space must have room for the following dimensions: 29 FT long X 13 FT wide X 12 FT high. Client acknowledges that in the event Baa’d Sheep Burritos is unable to park in the provided private parking space, Baa’d Sheep Burritos will retain all monies for the event in full.
Appropriate staff based on the size and menu of the event will be provided. Service includes full preparation and service of menu.
Disposables will be provided by Baa’d Sheep Burritos including paper food trays, napkins, plasticware and plastic cups if beverages are included in the menu. We are happy to serve food and drink using plates, silverware and glassware provided by the client. Additional food/beverage stations may be required in the event of using non-disposables.
Baa’d Sheep Burritos will provide one 50 gallon trash can. Off-site trash removal may be requested for a nominal fee. Baa’d Sheep Burritos is only equipped to provide off-site trash removal for the provided 50 gallon trash can.
Client agrees to indemnify and hold Baa’d Sheep Burritos harmless against all claims for injury or damage to persons or property arising out of any act, omission, negligence or misconduct on the part of said Client or any of its agents, guests, patrons or invitees.
